Ramakrishna Math, Rajkot organised a Youth Convention on 11 September 2026, Friday, to mark the anniversary of Swami Vivekananda’s historic address at the World’s Parliament of Religions, Chicago, on 11 September 1893.
The programme included addresses by Shri Parakramsinhji Jadeja, Chairman, Jyoti CNC, Rajkot; Shri Jagdishbhai Kotadiya, Director, Falcon Pumps Ltd., Rajkot; and monks of the centre. A documentary on Swami Vivekananda was screened, followed by a chorus singing session in which the youth participated with enthusiasm. An interactive question-and-answer session was also held. Each participant received a set of books on Swami Vivekananda along with snacks.
Approximately 500 youths attended the convention.
