Universal Brotherhood Day was celebrated at the Ramakrishna Mission Students’ Home, Chennai, with literary and oratory competitions for high school and polytechnic students. Nearly 500 students participated enthusiastically, and prizes were awarded to the winners.
A special meeting was held on 11th September in the Vivekananda Auditorium of the Students’ Home. Sri V. V. Subramanian, former Principal of Vivekananda College, presided as the Chief Guest.
Swamis, heads of institutions, teachers, and students spoke on the occasion, highlighting the significance of Swami Vivekananda’s historic address at the World’s Parliament of Religions in Chicago.
