A Values Education Programme was conducted by Ramakrishna Math, Thanjavur, for the students of Morning Star Matriculation School, Thanjavur, on Tuesday, 11 August 2026.
Swami Vimurtananda delivered a motivational address drawing upon the timeless message of Swami Vivekananda — “Arise! Awake! And stop not till the goal is reached.” He illustrated the significance of self-confidence in a student’s life through an apt analogy: just as the trunk is the source of an elephant’s strength, so too is self-confidence the foundational strength of every student.
Ms. Madhumitha rendered devotional songs, which served to relieve the students of stress and filled the gathering with enthusiasm and spiritual warmth.
The programme reached its inspiring culmination in the sacred presence of Bhagavan Sri Ramakrishna, before whom the students collectively took 10 pledges to strive towards becoming better students and responsible leaders of the future.
