To inculcate human values and love for our motherland, Ramakrishna Math, Chennai, conducted 9 workshops on Values Education at the Vivekananda Cultural Centre in Vivekananda House Campus, Triplicane. 429 students from 4 different institutions — MOP Vaishnav College for Women (250 students), Guru Nanak College, Velachery (79 students), Amrita Vidyalayam, KK Nagar (62 students), and Madras University, Dept, of Commerce (38 PG students) participated in the workshops held in October 2023.
Swami Muktimayananda, Swami Nithyeshananda, Swami Raghunayakananda, Smt. Varsha Sundararajan, Smt. Rajeshwari Ambarani, Sri Ganesh ji, Smt. Srividya V, and Dr. Ramakrishnan S, conducted interactive and inspirational sessions.
All students were given a Swami Vivekananda booklet and taken for a guided tour of the Vivekananda Museum, which depicts our ancient cultural heritage through easy-to-understand audio-visual shows and paintings.
