On 1st July 2026, a Vidyarthi Homa was performed at Sri Ramakrishna Math Sarada Vidyalaya Matriculation School, Ramakrishna Math, Madurai.
The students of Classes IX and X took the Five Vows and offered oblations into the sacred fire. The first batch of students appearing for the Class X State Board Examination in March 2027, along with students of Class IX, participated in the Homa. Prior to the ceremony, the students were guided through the mantras and the meaning and significance of the vows over three days.
Twenty-six students of Classes IX and X took the vows. Students of other classes were also present and witnessed the Homa.
