A Bal Sanskar Shibir (Summer Camp) was organized at the premises of Ramakrishna Mission Vivekananda Memorial, Porbandar, from 4th to 16th May 2026, with the farewell function held on 17th May 2026. The camp sessions were conducted each morning from 8:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
Approximately 130 children were registered for the camp, with an average daily attendance of around 85 participants.
Programme
During the course of the camp, the children were imparted instruction in Vedic stotras, Bhagavad Gita chanting, bhajans, yoga, craft-making, dance, and music. Special breakfast was served to all participants each day.
Farewell Function
The farewell function was held on 17th May 2026. Shri Bharatbhai Wag, Senior Teacher of the Coaching Centre, Porbandar, graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. Mrs. Bhavnaben Modhvadiya, Motivational Speaker, Porbandar, attended as the Special Guest. Prizes were distributed to the children during the function.
