Ramakrishna Math, Nattarampalli organized several programmes in commemoration of the 125th Anniversary of Swami Vivekananda’s Chicago Addresses.
9 Aug ’19: A programme at a Govt. Higher Secondary School (Co-ed)in a remote village, Dasariappanur. 600 students participated in the programme. To the Youth of India (Tamil) book was distributed to all the participants.
16 Aug ’19: A programme at Govt. Higher Secondary School for girls, Nattarampalli. 500 students participated in the programme. Books of Swami Vivekananda’s teachings were distributed to all the students.
20 Aug ’19: The ashrama distributed new school uniforms, booklet in Tamil to 81 boys and 91 girls of four Panchayat Union Middle Schools in four villages i.e. Maamudimaanapalli, Paiyappanayakkanpettai, Vellanayakkaneri and Kondakindanapalli.
22 Aug ’19: The ashrama distributed new school uniforms, booklet in Tamil to the students ( 88 boys’ and 86 girls’ ) of three Municipal schools in Perumaalpet, Nethaji Nagar (North) and Maruthuvar Colony which are a suburb of Vaniambadi town.

Programme at the Govt. High School in Tagarakuppam village. Nearly 300 students and 8 teachers attended the programme. Books on Swamiji’s teachings was distributed to the students.

School uniform was distributed to 170 girls of Nattarampalli Govt. Higher Secondary School.
Programme at the Govt. Girls Higher Secondary School at Pachur village. Nearly 350 students attended the programme. Books on Swamiji’s teachings was distributed to the students.

Programme at the Govt. Higher Secondary School at Jhangalapuram Village. Nearly 220 students attended the meeting in which there was talks on Swami Vivekananda’s life and teaching. Later, there was an interaction session with the students. Books on Swamiji’s teachings was distributed to the students.
A short programme in the Ashrama campus, where student groups from 2 schools of Kethandapatti and Agraharam village participated. Notebooks and books on Swamiji’s teachings was distributed to those 66 students. Later there was a talk and question & answer session with a group of 40 students in the Vivekananda Evening Free Tuition Center.

Programme at the SSDV Matriculation Higher Secondary School, where 160 students attended, and participated in the interactive session. Books on Swamiji’s teachings was distributed to the students.

In connection with the Concluding phase of the 125th anniversary of Swami Vivekananda’s Chicago Addresses, the Ashrama had conducted an Inter College and Inter School Volley Ball Match in which 13 teams from various Colleges and Schools of Nattarampalli, Vaniampadi, Thirupathur town and surrounding areas have participated. Books on Swamiji, Photo of Swamiji’s Chicago Posture and certificates were presented to all the participants.
