The concluding phase of the three-day celebrations, held from 16th to 18th January 2026, featured the divine Sri Sri Chandika Homa and a series of Chintanadhara sessions centred on the lives and teachings of the Holy Trio. The programmes highlighted the need to apply their ideals in daily life to attain spiritual growth and God-realisation. The occasion was graced by several senior monks and former Adhyakshas of the Math. A summary of the main events is given below:
Sri Vivekananda Chintanadhara — 16 January 2026
The celebrations were inaugurated by Revered Swami Balabhadranandaji Maharaj, Assistant General Secretary, Ramakrishna Math & Ramakrishna Mission, Belur Math. Revered Swamiji and other speakers reflected on the life and message of Swami Vivekananda, emphasising his teachings on faith, strength, service, and spiritual awakening. Swamiji’s historic visit to Bengaluru and its deep influence on the people were also recalled.
Sri Sri Chandika Homa — 17 January 2026 (Morning)
A grand and sacred Chandika Homa was performed by a group of priests. The meaning and significance of each step of the ritual were explained to the devotees, helping them participate with devotion and understanding.
Sri Ramakrishna Chintanadhara — 17 January 2026 (Afternoon)
Senior monks spoke about the spiritual simplicity, direct God-realisation, and boundless compassion of Sri Ramakrishna. Several incidents from his life were narrated to illustrate how he uplifted devotees—materially, mentally, and spiritually—and guided householders with unparalleled love and clarity.
Sri Sarada Devi Chintanadhara — 18 January 2026 (Morning)
Swamijis and a Swamini reflected on the exemplary life of the Holy Mother, Sri Sarada Devi. They recalled numerous incidents highlighting her unconditional love, purity, patience, humility, and universal motherhood. The talks emphasised that she never turned anyone away, irrespective of their shortcomings.
Concluding Session — 18 January 2026 (Afternoon)
Monks and devotees reminisced about their association with the Halasuru Ashrama and shared uplifting experiences. A brief history of the Ramakrishna-Vivekananda Movement in Halasuru was presented, and key events from the year-long celebrations were recounted.
Revered Swami Raghaveshanandaji Maharaj delivered the benedictory address, urging devotees to practise the teachings of Sri Ramakrishna in their lives.
Swami Bodhaswarupanandaji Maharaj felicitated the monks and volunteers whose dedicated efforts contributed to the success of the year-long celebrations.
