Ramakrishna Mission Ashrama, Jhargram has been conferred the prestigious Vidyasagar Sera Vidyalaya Samman–2026 by the Government of West Bengal. The award was presented by the Hon’ble Chief Minister of West Bengal at an official function held on 5 September 2026, on the occasion of Teachers’ Day.
The award comprises a citation, a trophy, and a cash prize of ₹1 lakh. It recognises the sustained commitment of the Ashrama’s Eklavya Model Residential School (EMRS) — Ramakrishna Mission Vidyamandira — to excellence in education, character building, and the holistic development of its students.
