COVID-19 Pandemic Relief Services By Ramakrishna Math, Barisha


Ramakrishna Math, Barisha, Kolkata, is continuing relief services for the families affected by the lockdown due to the COVID-9 pandemic.

On 18 May 2020, the centre distributed ration Kits (each kit containing Rice 3 kg, Dal 1 kg, Potato 3 kg, Salt 500 gm, Edible Oil 500 ml, Bath Soap 1 pc) among 150 families (612 family members) of Asuti and Krishnarampur Village of South 24 Parganas.

On 17 May 2020, the centre distributed 100 Dry Ration Kits (each kit containing Rice 3 kg, Dal 1 kg, Potato 3 kg, Salt half kg, Edible Oil 500 ml, among 100 families (341 family Members) of Bakultala village in South 24 Pgs. district.

On 15 May 2020, the ashrama distributed 104 Dry Ration Kits (each kit containing Rice 3 kg, Dal 800 gm, Potato 3 kg, Salt 500 gm, Edible Oil 500 ml, Bath Soap 1 pc) among 104 families (427 family members) of Amtala in South 24 Parganas.

The ashrama has distributed 2348 kg rice, 581 kg dal, 2319 kg potatoes, 395 liters edible oil, 368 kg salt, 773 bars of soap to 773 poor families in and around Ramakrishna Math, Barisha and in some parts of 24 Parganas (South)
