Ramakrishna Mission, Dehradun, assisting the district administration to vaccinate villagers in the hilly terrain. They have completed vaccinating 1134 members in and around the Rudraprayag region as of 30 June 2021.
At Agastyamuni, in association with the Chief Medical Officer of Rudraprayag, the District Magistrate, and others Dehradun centres arranged a small event to thank the frontline COVID-19 warriors (Doctors, Nurses, and support staff). All the frontline warriors were felicitated with a Certificate and a jacket by the CMO in the presence of the dignitaries. In all about 220 members participated.
Ramakrishna Mission, Dehradun started another Dedicated Covid Care Center with 27 oxygen-supported beds on 24 May 2021 at Anusuya Prasad Bahuguna Government PG College at Agastyamuni, Rudraprayag, Uttarakhand. The college was constructed by Ramakrishna Mission as a part of the Uttarakhand Flood Relief in 2013.
The Dehradun ashrama has already converted the Vivekananda Netralaya (Eye Hospital) into a Covid Care Centre on the request of the District Magistrate in April 2021.
