Ramakrishna Math & Ramakrishna Mission Ashrama, Malda, conducted a series of Distress Relief distribution programmes during the months of April and May 2026, extending material assistance to underprivileged families and students in the region.
Food Relief Distribution
A total of six food relief distributions were carried out, providing essential provisions to distressed beneficiaries. The details are as follows:

Across these six distributions, a total of 521 beneficiaries received food relief at the Malda Mission premises.
Educational Items Distribution
In addition to food relief, an Educational Items Distribution programme was conducted between 12 and 16 May 2026, benefiting 182 students. The following materials were distributed:
- 182 school bags
- 182 coloured pencil boxes
- 182 art exercise books
- 364 pens
- 182 pencils
- 728 exercise books
This initiative reflects the Ashrama’s commitment to supporting the educational aspirations of underprivileged children in the surrounding communities.
