From 2nd to 4th December 2024, Ramakrishna Math, Puri, organized a series of eye screening camps. These camps were conducted at the Math itself and at five schools within Puri block.
Key Activities:
- Eye Screening: A total of 704 students and 35 local underprivileged individuals underwent eye examinations during the camps.
- Medical Assistance:
- 39 individuals were identified as requiring cataract surgery and referred for further treatment.
- 22 spectacles were distributed to needy students and individuals who were diagnosed with vision problems.
- Free Medications: Free medicines were provided to all patients screened at the camps.
