The newly constructed Vivekananda Hall at Ramakrishna Mission, Hatamuniguda, was virtually inaugurated by Most Revered President Maharaj, Swami Smaranananda ji, from Belur Math on sacred Ram Navami Day, 10 April 2022. Revered General Secretary Maharaj, Swami Suvirananda ji, participated virtually and gave his blessings. Shri Dibyasingha Deb, Gajapati Maharaja of Puri sent his message on this occasion which was read out in the function.
Shri Jagannath Saraka, Minister, ST & SC Development Department, Govt. of Odisha, Srimat Swami Atmaprabhanandaji Maharaj, Adhyaksha, Ramakrishna Math, Bhubaneswar, participated in the inauguration ceremony as Chief Guest and Special Guest respectively. Shri Saroj Kumar Mishra, Collector and District Magistrate, Rayagada, presided over the function.
Ramanam Sankirtanam was conducted in the afternoon.
In the evening, the ashrama students presented cultural performances — Yoga Dance, Tribal Dance and Mime Act, which were highly appreciated by the audience.
Shri Abhiram Nanda, accompanied on the tabla by Shri Sandip Kumar Rout, presented a flute recital. The programme was concluded with Odishi Dance recital by Smt Sonali Mohapatra and her troupe. The entire programme was live streamed through Ashrama’s YouTube Channel.
The ashrama students, staff members with their family, devotees and admirers from nearby areas participated in the function.
