Industrial Exposure Training: Asansol, July 2026

Ramakrishna Mission Ashrama, Asansol

A four-week Industrial Exposure Training Programme was successfully completed by the trainees of the Ramakrishna Mission Ashrama, Asansol. The educational initiative was organized in collaboration with the Steel Authority of India Limited – IISCO Steel Plant (SAIL-ISP), Burnpur, and was conducted from June 8, 2026, to July 4, 2026.

A total of 60 trainees participated in the comprehensive industrial programme. The cohort comprised the following groups:

  • 20 trainees from the Electrician Trade (Session 2024–26)
  • 18 trainees from the Fitter Trade (Session 2024–26)
  • 22 trainees from the Computer Operator and Programming Assistant (COPA) Trade (Session 2025–26)

The exposure training was organized with the objective of enhancing the technical acumen and practical confidence of the students. By providing direct observation and hands-on experience, the programme facilitated a deeper understanding of the complex operations and functional dynamics of a large-scale integrated steel plant.

At the conclusion of the training period, certificates of completion were formally awarded to all participating trainees by the authorities at SAIL-ISP. The management at the steel plant expressed their appreciation for the discipline, attentiveness, and exemplary behavioral conduct demonstrated by the students throughout the duration of the programme.
