International Yoga Day 2026 was observed at Ramakrishna Mission Students’ Home, Chennai, on 21 June 2026. The programme commenced with Arati offered to the Holy Trio.
Shri P. R. Yuvaraj, Physical Education Teacher of the Residential High School, gave a brief introduction on the history and significance of Yoga.
Shri A. Sudharsun, Regional Head of Tamil Nadu and Kerala, PNB Housing Finance Ltd., graced the occasion as Chief Guest. In his address, he encouraged the students to make Yoga a part of their daily routine.
As part of the programme, more than 550 students of the High School and Polytechnic showcased various yogasanas under the guidance of the Physical Education Teacher. Their disciplined and coordinated performance reflected their dedication and regular practice.
