Ramakrishna Mission Ashrama, Guwahati, celebrated the 12th International Day of Yoga on 21st June 2026 within the Ashrama premises. The programme commenced with the chanting of Vedic mantras, followed by a warm welcome address by the Secretary of the Ashrama. A dedicated team of instructors from Vivekananda Kendra then conducted the core Yoga session. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from a diverse gathering, including teachers and students from Pub Guwahati Aurobinda Adarsha Vidyalaya, residents of the Ashrama’s Students’ Home, children from the Gadadhar Abhyudaya Prakalpa (GAP) unit, as well as local devotees and well-wishers. Altogether, around 150 participants successfully took part in the celebration.
