Ramakrishna Mission, Imphal Centre, has been entrusted with the Maternity and Child Welfare Services Project, generously funded by the Infosys Foundation. The project was implemented in Kakching district, Manipur, benefiting 10 expectant mothers and 7 children.
On 27 August 2025, after the recommendations of the attending doctor and medical nurse, the following items were distributed:
- Rice – 50 kgs (5 kgs each)
- Masoor Dal – 20 kgs (2 kgs each)
- Mother Horlicks – 10 pcs. (500 gm each)
- Everyday Milk Powder – 12 pcs. (1 kg each)
- Well Women Capsules – 300 pcs.
- Caltex Capsules – 200 pcs.
- Bevon Capsules – 300 pcs.
- Elderzyme Syrup – 10 pcs. (200 ml each)
- Dettol Soap – 10 pcs. (75 gm each)
- Dettol Liquid – 10 pcs. (125 ml each)
- Baby Powder – 10 pcs. (200 gm each)
- Baby Lotion – 5 pcs. (100 ml each)
- Junior Horlicks – 2 pcs. (500 gm each)
- Lactogen – 1 pc. (400 gm)
- Mulmin Syrup – 2 pcs. (100 ml each)
- Diaper Small – 8 packets
- Diaper Medium – 4 packets
- Diaper Large – 2 packets
This initiative provided much-needed nutrition, supplements, and baby-care essentials to support the health and well-being of both mothers and children.
