Three sFour students of Ramakrishna Mission Ashrama, Jhargram brought distinction to their institution by winning a total of five medals — one Gold, two Silver, and two Bronze — at the 10th International Karate Championship 2026, held at the Netaji Indoor Stadium, Kolkata, from 31 July to 2 August 2026.
The championship was organised by the All India Seishinkai Shito-Ryu Karate-Do Federation and was approved by the Karate India organisation. Athletes representing seven countries participated in the competition, lending the event a truly international character.
