Medical and Rural Service Centre Inauguration at Meyyur, Chennai

Medical and Rural Service Centre Inauguration at Meyyur on 11th September 2016.

For the past 15 years plus, through Ramakrishna Math, Mylapore, Chennai, free tuition classes are conducted for students and annadhanam done to Meyyur Village people. Also for the past 5 years free medical services and women empowerment programs too are conducted. Many volunteers and organizations participate in these efforts.

In particular Bharat Petroleum (BPCL) contributes significantly for these services and efforts. Hence, in the intention of having a permanent building to promote and continue these services, BPCL is working jointly with the Math for construction of new building and total cost is borne by BPCL and Sri Ramakrishna Math, Chennai.

We sincerely hope and believe this effort will help Meyyur people for the betterment of their living conditions and we are happy to dedicate this to Meyyur village.
