In collaboration with the heritage-rich National College, Trichy, a program focusing on Swami Vivekananda’s life and teachings was conducted, attracting 500 young individuals. Two professors provided an insightful introduction to Swamiji, followed by a keynote address delivered by Swami Vimurtananda.

A special program organized by Vivekananda Sevalaya featured speeches by Mr. Thirunavukkarasu IPS and Swami Vimurtananda. A remarkable 1,200 students participated, drawing inspiration from Swamiji’s teachings. Participants received “Vivekananda Vitamin” as part of the event.
11 January 2025, Saturday, Coimbatore
Kongunadu Arts and Science College, in collaboration with Ramakrishna Math, Thanjavur, hosted a grand celebration of National Youth Day. Esteemed speakers, including economist Dr. Seetharaman, IIT Madras Director Dr. Kamakoti, College Chairman Dr. Vasuki, Swami Narasimananda, and Swami Vimurtananda, enriched the event with their insights. The 1,500 participants, primarily enthusiastic students, left with renewed hope and confidence in the potential of youth. Laminated pictures of Swami Vivekananda and books were distributed to all participants.

- Thanjavur: Framed pictures of Swami Vivekananda were distributed to over 150 shops as part of a community initiative to honor his teachings.
- Aaduthurai: The Vivekananda Sports Festival, featuring eight sports categories, was inaugurated by Swami Vimurtananda to inspire village youth. The festival, with around 600 participants, will conclude on February 5, commemorating Swamiji’s lecture in Kumbakonam in 1897.
- Govindapuram: At Sri Vittal Rukmini Samsthan Sarva Vidhyalaya’s traditional Veda Padasala, National Youth Day was celebrated with 75 students participating. Students delivered inspiring speeches on Swamiji in Sanskrit, English, and Tamil. Vittaldas Maharaj, Adhyaksha of the Vidyalaya, offered a floral tribute to the 20-foot-high statue of Swami Vivekananda.
- Kanjanur: At the Udhavikkaram Educational Center, Swami Vimurtananda addressed 156 students, emphasizing Swamiji’s teachings and human values.
14 January 2025, Tuesday, Rayampettai Village
Swamiji’s birth anniversary was celebrated in Rayampettai Village near Thiruvaiyaru, with 40 children and 70 villagers participating in the event.
16 January 2025, Thursday, Thiruthuraipoondi
A special Vivekananda Ratha Street Procession was organized by our Math in Thiruthuraipoondi, Tamil Nadu. A chariot carrying Swami Vivekananda’s divine image traveled approximately 4 kilometers, spreading his message. Swamiji’s books and Laddu Prasad were distributed to attendees. Students from the Math’s free tuition center carried flags and placards. Thousands of people paid their respects to Swamiji in this predominantly communist region.
18 January 2025, Saturday, Kumbakonam
A drawing competition in Kumbakonam attracted 265 students who depicted Swamiji’s portrait. Prizes worth ₹35,000 were awarded to the top 50 participants. A six-minute video showcasing the creativity of the students was created to celebrate the event.
20 January 2025, Monday, Lalgudi
National Youth Day was celebrated in Lalgudi through Values Education Programmes:
- Lions Metric School: 150 students participated.
- Sai Vidyalaya Senior Secondary School: 250 students participated.
Students were inspired to become achievers by learning Swamiji’s profound teachings.

Exam-writing pads were distributed to 265 economically weak students from the Sri Ramakrishna Vidyalaya Government-Aided Primary School.

At Maruthupandiyar College, the 18th Values Education Programme was held. Wing Commander M. Jayakumar delivered a motivational speech that inspired the youth.

At Mass Arts and Science College, Swamiji’s teachings inspired 200 students, with five key thoughts shared: be fearless, be attentive, lead with leadership qualities, learn responsibility, and be a contributor.
25 January 2025, Saturday, Tindivanam
In Tindivanam, three significant events marked National Youth Day. A motivational speech was given at National Arts College for students. Teachers attended a Skill Development Workshop at Green Paradise CBSE Hr. Sec. School and Kennedy Matriculation School. A devotees’ satsang, organized by Annai Sri Saradha Devi Seva Trust, featured Swami Vimurtananda’s discourse, bhajans, meditation, and prayers. Participants received laminated pictures of Swamiji and a book.
