Ramakrishna Mission, Aalo, commemorated National Youth Day 2026 with a grand procession and educational activities involving the local student community. The celebration commenced at 9:30 a.m. with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp by the Chief Guest, Sri Topin Ete (Hon’ble MLA), at the Donyi-Polo Temple.
Following the inaugural ceremony, a massive procession was held through Aalo Town, concluding at 11:30 a.m. Over 1,000 participants, including students from Classes V to XII, as well as teaching and non-teaching staff, marched through the town to spread the message of Swami Vivekananda.
In addition to the procession, the Ashrama organized a video-based written competition in which 350 boys and girls participated. To ensure the comfort of all attendees, drinking water, soft drinks, and snacks were distributed to more than 1,000 people. The event successfully brought together the youth of Aalo in a spirit of unity and inspiration.
