To commemorate National Youth Day 2026, Ramakrishna Mission Vidyalaya, Coimbatore, organized a series of events, including a Sports Mela, public meetings, and rallies from 7 January to 12 January 2026.
I. National Youth Day Sports Mela (January 7–8)
The celebrations commenced with a two-day Sports Mela featuring approximately 600 athletes from 50 schools across Tamil Nadu. Competitions were held in badminton, football, volleyball, kabaddi, and handball. Teams securing the top four positions in each category were honored with prizes.
II. Public Outreach and Rallies
A series of five public meetings and six rallies were conducted across various municipalities and panchayats to spread the message of Swami Vivekananda.

III. Local Literary and Sports Competitions
Parallel to these events, literary and sports competitions were organized for local students. Out of approximately 400 participants, 63 students were recognized for their outstanding performances.
