Ramakrishna Math, Adipur, commemorated National Youth Day on 12 January 2026 through a comprehensive series of competitions, educational lectures, and ceremonial tributes across Adipur, Gandhidham, and Anjar.
Elocution Competition and Youth Convention
The primary event took place at Prabhu Darshan Hall near the Adipur Math.
- Competition Details: Twenty selected students from six different faculties of the Tolani Institute participated in a high-level elocution competition.
- Attendance: The convention was attended by a total of 120 students.
- Keynote: Swami Mantreshananda delivered the introductory address, focusing on the life and legacy of Swami Vivekananda.
Educational Outreach and Lectures
The Math organized several outreach programs to engage students across different age groups and institutions:
- Aksharam International School, Gandhidham: Swami Alipteshananda addressed an audience of 430 students.
- Muralidhar High School, Anjar (Ahir Boys Chhatralay): A lecture was delivered by Swami Mantreshananda and Sri Sureshbhai Chhaya to 350 students.
- Karunavihar Hostel, Adipur: Swami Mantreshananda and Smt. Bhaviniben Khimani held a session for 55 female students.
- Primary Education Outreach: At the Khodiyar Nagar FCI Colony in Gandhidham, Swami Mantreshananda and Sri Maganbhai Kangad spoke to 55 primary school children.
Ceremonial Tributes
To mark the occasion with traditional reverence, the monks and devotees of the Adipur Math performed ceremonial garlanding at major landmarks:
- The Swami Vivekananda statue in Gandhidham.
- The full-size statue located in Anjar.
