To commemorate National Youth Day and the 75th Anniversary of the Mangaluru Centre, Ramakrishna Math and Ramakrishna Mission, Mangaluru, organized a series of three comprehensive, day-long seminars designed to empower the modern youth.
The series began on 12 January with a Youth Seminar on Value Education, attended by 550 students. This was followed on 13 January by “Shakti,” a dedicated Women’s Empowerment Seminar that saw the participation of 600 girls from various professional courses. The series culminated on 16 January with “Sphoorthi,” a specialized Youth Empowerment Seminar tailored for the engineering community, drawing 750 students from eight engineering colleges.
Each seminar featured an inaugural session followed by two interactive modules and a panel discussion. These sessions, led by distinguished achievers, offered delegates a unique platform to learn from real-world experiences. Key resource persons included Swami Jnanishanandaji (Associate Editor, Prabuddha Bharata), Prof. Navakanth Bhat (Dean, IISc Bangalore), and Shri Shashidhara Dongre (Global Head, L&T Technology Services). All participants were provided with refreshments, lunch, certificates, and commemorative booklets.
