The 42nd National Youth Day was observed on 12 January 2026 across the Ramakrishna Mission, Narottam Nagar institutions to commemorate Swami Vivekananda’s birth anniversary.
The program featured speeches, bhajans, and readings from Swamiji’s works. At the Vivekananda Statue, Smt. Indira Tamoung Riba, Assistant Commissioner of Deomali, addressed the students, emphasizing the positive use of time and urging them to overcome fear.
Swami Achyuteshanandaji, Secretary of Ramakrishna Mission Narottam Nagar, inspired students at the Secondary and Higher Secondary sections with a keynote address, while Sarada Vidyalaya marked the day with a dedicated special assembly and scriptural readings.
