Ramakrishna Mission, Narottam Nagar observed the 133rd Anniversary of Swami Vivekananda’s historic Chicago Address on 11 September 2026. The day, widely observed as Universal Brotherhood Day, was marked with devotion and a spirit of service at the Ashrama.
The occasion was also graced by the presence of the Hon’ble Home Minister of Arunachal Pradesh, Shri Mama Natung, who arrived at Deomali Helipad and thereafter attended the programme at the Ashrama.
Two significant development projects were inaugurated and initiated on this day. The Hon’ble Home Minister performed the formal inauguration of a Pressure Water Filter Plant, which is expected to provide clean and safe drinking water to the local population. He also laid the Foundation Stone of the proposed 24 units of Teaching Staff Quarters, a facility intended to accommodate the teaching staff of the educational institutions conducted by Ramakrishna Mission, Narottam Nagar.
These initiatives reflect the continuing commitment of Ramakrishna Mission, Narottam Nagar to the educational and humanitarian development of the Tirap district of Arunachal Pradesh.
