Ramakrishna Math, Nattarampalli, commemorated the birth anniversary of Swami Vivekananda with a two-part celebration focused on academic excellence, character building, and spiritual tribute.
1. Youth Competitions (January 8, 2026)
To inspire local students to imbibe Swamiji’s ideals of confidence and service, the Math hosted a series of competitive events.
- Participation: A total of 162 students from 22 schools participated with great enthusiasm.
- Events: Students showcased their talents in Essay Writing, Elocution, Recitation, and Drawing, all themed around the life and teachings of Swami Vivekananda.
- Hospitality: The Math provided nutritious snacks and lunch to all participating children and teachers.
Awards and Recognition:
To encourage continued learning, every participant received a certificate, books on Swami Vivekananda, and a ₹100 cash award. Additionally, mementos were presented to all 22 participating schools. Winners were recognized with the following prizes:

2. Commemorative Meeting (January 12, 2026)
The celebrations culminated on the actual birth anniversary of Swami Vivekananda with a solemn and grand gathering.
- Floral Tributes: Teachers and students joined together to pay respectful floral tributes to Swamiji.
- Youth Assembly: A commemorative meeting was held, attended by approximately 700 students, reinforcing the message of strength, discipline, and selfless service.
