Ramakrishna Mission, Sribhumi, celebrated National Youth Day 2026 on 12 January with profound reverence, discipline, and enthusiasm. The event served as a powerful tribute to Swami Vivekananda, engaging the local youth in his timeless message of strength and service.

- Inaugural Ceremony: The celebrations began with Vedic chanting and formal floral offerings at the statue of Swami Vivekananda by monks, brahmacharins, and invited dignitaries.
- Commemorative Address: The Secretary of the Ashrama delivered a keynote address on the historical and contemporary importance of National Youth Day.
- Recitation: Following the address, the participants joined in a solemn and collective recitation of the Swadesh Mantra.
- Participation: A significant gathering of youths attended, including students from 25 different schools, colleges, local NGOs, and educational institutions.
Grand Rally: “A Life of Purpose”
A major highlight of the day was a grand rally that processed through the local area, featuring three beautifully decorated tableaux bearing the portraits of Sri Ramakrishna, Holy Mother Sri Sarada Devi, and Swami Vivekananda.
- Devotional Atmosphere: Participants filled the streets with devotional songs, hymns, and slogans glorifying the ideals of the Holy Trio.
- Public Outreach: During the rally and upon its conclusion, participants were provided with refreshments (fruits and sweets) and a short book featuring the teachings of Swami Vivekananda to encourage further study.
