The Ramakrishna Mission Vivekananda College, Chennai (a major unit of Ramakrishna Mission Vidyapith, Chennai), celebrated its Day College Graduation Ceremony for the 2024 batch on 12 April 2026 with deep solemnity. The event served as a formal recognition of the academic milestones achieved by the graduands and was conducted in an atmosphere of serene dignity.
The ceremony was graced by the presence of Sri AVM Shanmugam, a distinguished alumnus of the college from the B.Com batch of 1982. Representing the renowned southern cinema production house, AVM Studios, Sri Shanmugam currently serves as the Correspondent of Avichi School and Avichi Arts and Science College. Known for his progressive outlook and commitment to value-based education, he presided as the Chief Guest for this significant occasion.
During the proceedings, degrees were formally conferred upon a total of 390 students for their successful completion of various Graduation and Post-Graduation programs. The event concluded with the participants inspired to carry forward the institution’s legacy of service and character.
