On 20 March 2026, Ramakrishna Mission Ashrama, Jalpaiguri, conducted a Maternity and Child Welfare Service Programme with financial assistance from the Infosys Foundation. The initiative targeted economically weaker sections to promote maternal health and child nutrition.
The program provided Supplementary Nutritious Food Kits and essential medicines to a total of 450 beneficiaries. The distribution was categorized as follows:
- Antenatal Mothers: 50
- Postnatal Mothers: 200
- Children: 200
At the conclusion of the event, tea and snacks were provided to all participants.are interventions.
