On Thursday, 23 October 2025, the Ramakrishna Mission Ashrama, Hatamuniguda, organized a comprehensive Maternity and Child Welfare Services Programme. This initiative was made possible with the generous support of the Infosys Foundation.
The program was designed to provide essential care and nutritional support to vulnerable mothers and young children in the region.
Beneficiaries: The camp directly benefited a total of 63 individuals:
- 37 Antenatal and Postnatal Mothers
- 26 Children (up to the age of 3 years)
Services Rendered: Qualified doctors and support staff provided a three-pronged approach to service:
- Health Check-ups and Medicine: General health check-ups and necessary medicines were provided to all beneficiaries.
- Nutritional Supplementation: Essential nutritional food supplements were distributed, including Soya Chunks, Moong Dal, Masur Dal, Rajma, Chhatu, Iodized Salt, and Cerelac Stage 2 (baby cereals with milk).
- Counselling and Education: Beneficiaries received specialized counselling sessions on vital topics such as nutrition, pre and post-natal well-being, and maternal care.
