In observance of National Sports Day 2026 under the theme “Khelega Bharat, Jeetega Bharat”, and in accordance with the guidelines received from the Headquarters, Belur Math, Ramakrishna Mission, Sarati organised a series of programmes on 29 August 2026 comprising a sports awareness speech, a girls’ cycle rally, and a friendly football match.
Event 1: Awareness Speech
An awareness speech on the significance of National Sports Day was delivered at the seminar hall of Dakshin Rasulpur Higher Secondary School. The address highlighted the importance of sports, physical fitness, and the values of discipline and sportsmanship among the youth.
Event 2: Cycle Rally for Girls
A Cycle Rally was organised exclusively for girls, commencing from the Ramakrishna Mission Campus, Sarati and concluding at Dakshin Rasulpur Higher Secondary School. The rally provided young women participants an opportunity to engage actively in the spirit of the national initiative.
Event 3: Friendly Football Match
A friendly football match was played between the students of Dakshin Rasulpur Higher Secondary School and Sarati Avatar Sangha. The match was held in a spirit of healthy competition and camaraderie. Refreshments were served to all participants and teachers at the conclusion of the events.
