1. Distress Relief:
The following centres distributed various items to needy people, as detailed below:
India:

(i) Hatamuniguda: 58.5 kg energy drink powder, 100 sachets of ORS, 130 tubes of toothpaste, 130 bottles of body oil, 130 bottles of shampoo, 130 saris, 230 water bottles and 100 sets of utensils on 13 and 27 April. Each set included a cooking pot with lid, a kadai (wok), a gamla (serving bowl), plates (big and small), a bowl, a tumbler, a khunti (spatula), a ladle and a plastic bucket.
(ii) Indore: 51 sets of utensils on 5 April. Each set contained 2 pans, a tawa (flat pan), a paraat (platter), 3 plates, 3 bowls, 3 tumblers, 2 ladles, a tong, 3 spoons and a jug.
(iii) Jayrambati: 200 kg pulses, 100 litres cooking oil, 30 kg assorted spices, 100 saris, 100 gamchhas (towels), 100 bottles of hair oil, 100 bars of bathing soap, 100 bars of washing soap and 100 kg detergent powder on 20 April.
(iv) Kamarpukur: 100 blankets on 30 December.
(v) Krishnanagar: 150 meals on 15 April.
(vi) Limbdi: 1530 kg wheat in March.
(vii) Sargachhi: 600 blankets and 100 woollen chaddars from 5 December to 25 January.
(viii) Sri Vijaya Puram (Port Blair): 140 packets of biscuits, 140 pouches of flavoured drink, 140 mosquito nets, 140 bars of bathing soap and 70 kg detergent powder on 12 April.
(ix) Thirumukkudal: 400 meals and 270 provision kits on 7 March and 25 April. Each kit contained 5 kg rice, 1.75 kg pulses, 500 ml cooking oil, 400 g ground spices, 1 kg salt, a bar of bathing soap, and a bar of laundry soap.
(x) Vadodara: 520 kg flour, 200 kg rice, 130 kg pulses, 70 litres cooking oil, 40 kg salt, 10 kg ground spices, 80 kg sugar, 20 kg tea powder and 20 bars of bathing soap on 5 and 17 April.
(xi) Varanasi Home of Service: 436 kg dalia (wheat groats), 35 kg chira (rice flakes), 113 kg soya chunks, 18 kg gram, 5 kg groundnuts, 8 litres cooking oil, 64 litres milk, 3 kg malt drink mix, 88 packets of biscuits, 39 kg dry fruits, 14.5 kg sweets, 94 tubes of toothpaste and 97 bars of bathing soap from 2 to 28 March.
(xii) Vrindavan: Ration kits on 20 April. Each kit contained 2 kg flour, 2 kg rice, 500 g pulses, 500 ml cooking oil, 1 kg salt, 500 g sugar, a packet of biscuits, a bottle of soft drink, 200 g milk powder, 100 g tea powder and a bar of bathing soap.
Bangladesh:
(a) Bagerhat: 50 saris, 30 dhotis and 30 uttariyas on 27 March.
(b) Narayanganj: 750 kg puffed rice, 50 kg sugar candy, 2500 litres drinking water, and 1800 packets of ORS on 26 March. Additionally, the centre set up a medical camp where 23 patients received treatment.
(c) Sitakunda: 330 blankets in February.
Nepal: Kathmandu: 8 school bags on 3 April.

2. Distress Rehabilitation:
West Bengal: Sargachhi centre, with financial assistance from the Headquarters, constructed a house for a poor family in Murshidabad district under the ‘Build your own house’ scheme. The house was handed over to the family on 26 April.
3. Economic Rehabilitation:
Tamil Nadu: Thanjavur Math provided a three-wheeler electric vehicle to a poor person on 2 April to help him earn his livelihood.
