Tirupati: The centre served 1700 plates of cooked food from 1 to 14 April.

Vijayawada: The centre distributed 3955 face masks and 300 gloves among 3703 persons and 1450 kg rice, 583 kg dal, 568 kg flour, 584 kg potatoes, 583 kg onions, 300 kg salt, 292 litres cooking oil and 33 kg assorted spices among 331 families in Guntur district from 30 March to12 April.

Visakhapatnam: The centre distributed 800 packets of biscuits, 800 litres water and 800 packets of health drink, 600 hand sanitizer bottles among 1400 persons and 3108 kg rice, 36 kg dal, 372 kg potatoes, 72 kg onions, 275 kg assorted vegetables, 43 kg assorted spices and 36 litres edible oil among 236 families in Srikakulam district from 29 March to 16 April.

Aalo: The centre conducted an awareness camp on 30 March and distributed 2150 kg rice, 701 kg dal, 215 kg soybeans, 1561 kg potatoes, 1401 kg onions, 541 litres cooking oil, 208 kg salt, 319 packets of assorted spices among 209 families in West Siang district on 11 April.

Narottam Nagar: The centre distributed 1500 kg rice and 150 dg dal among 300 families in Tirap district from 9 to 12 April.

Dibrugarh: The centre distributed 1000 kg rice, 200 kg dal, 400 kg flour, 400 kg potatoes, 100 kg salt, 40 litres cooking oil, 200 packets of biscuits and 200 bars of soap among 200 sweeper families of Dibrugarh Municipality from 8 to 11 April.

Guwahati: The centre distributed 2242 kg rice, 578 kg dal, 859 kg potatoes, 681 kg salt, 53 litres cooking oil, 722 face masks and 279 hand sanitizer bottles among 768 families in Kamrup Metropolitan district from 29 March to 14 April.

Karimganj: The centre distributed 8251 kg rice, 1742 kg dal, 3356 kg potatoes, 1792 kg salt, 2903 packets of biscuits, 2657 bars of soap and 1382 face masks among 1794 families in Karimganj district from 31 March to 15 April.

Silchar: The centre distributed 10,000 kg rice, 2000 kg dal, 4000 kg potatoes, 2000 kg salt, 400 litres cooking oil and 2000 bars of soap among 2000 families in Cachar district from 4 to 10 April.

Chapra: The centre distributed 1200 kg chira (rice flakes), 1365 kg flour, 200 kg potatoes, 297 kg molasses and 40 litres cooking oil among 1143 families of Saran District from 7 to 15 April.

Muzaffarpur: The centre organized an Online Essay Competition on “Coronavirus, Our Responsibility towards Prevention and Cure” for students.

Patna: The centre distributed 1000 kg rice, 200 kg dal, 100 litres cooking oil, 200 kg chattu (powdered cereal and pulses), 100 kg salt and 100 kg health drink among 200 families in Patna from 29 March to 2 April.

Bilaspur: The centre distributed 2125 kg rice, 425 kg dal, 425 kg flour, 425 kg salt, 213 kg sugar, 213 litres cooking oil, 85 kg assorted spices and 425 bars of soap among 425 families in Bilaspur from 1 to 8 April.

Narainpur: The centre served cooked food to 35 persons and distributed 1,17,784 kg rice, 6732 kg oats (chana), 6742 kg salt, 3366 kg sugar and 6742 kg molasses among 1950 families in 42 villages of Narainpur from 1 to 10 April.

Limbdi: The centre conducted an awareness campaign, served 2013 packets of breakfast, 1500 pouches of buttermilk, 145 kg sweets, 1440 packets of biscuits and 2203 plates of cooked food, and distributed 1220 kg flour, 225 kg rice, 220 kg dal, 222 kg potatoes, 220 kg onions, 220 kg jaggery, 220 kg salt, 220 kg sugar, 220 litre cooking oil, 111 kg assorted spices, 56 kg tea leaves, 290 bars of soap, 1000 face masks and 350 tubes of toothpaste among 220 families from 28 March to 14 April.

Porbandar: The centre distributed 650 kg flour, 630 kg rice, 100 kg millet, 480 kg dal, 100 kg snacks, 1120 packets of biscuits, 350 kg salt, 350 kg sugar, 316 litres cooking oil, 83 kg tea leaves, 367 bars of soap and 2 kg candies among 300 families in Porbandar from 3 to 9 April.

Rajkot: The centre distributed 4052 kg rice, 785 kg wheat, 2737 kg flour, 1136 kg dal, 936 litres cooking oil, 1762 kg potatoes, 908 kg onions, 736 kg sugar, 352 kg assorted spices, 153 kg tea leaves, 611 kg salt, 579 packets of biscuits and 979 bars of soap among 936 families in Rajkot, Ahmedabad and Kutch districts from 30 March to 7 April.

Vadodara: The centre served 780 plates of cooked food in slums of Vadodara and distributed 3865 kg assorted fruits and vegetables, 100 litres milk packets, 1200 packets of snacks, 1000 packets of biscuits, 875 bars of soap and 680 face masks among 2365 families in Vadodara district from 31 March to 6 April.

Shimla: The centre distributed 155 kg flour, 146 kg rice, 77 kg dal, 2 kg salt, 39 litres cooking oil, 17 kg milk and 40 packets of biscuits among 122 labourers in Shimla from 1 to 7 April.

Jammu: The centre distributed 1468 kg rice, 367 kg dal, 734 kg potatoes, 367 kg salt and 313 bars of soap among 367 families in Jammu district from 30 March to 15 April.

Srinagar: The centre distributed 1068 flour, 60 kg dal, 50 kg potatoes, 50 kg onions, 6 kg soybeans, 104 kg salt, 192 kg cooking oil, 21 kg assorted spices, 58 kg sugar, 12 kg tea leaves and 354 bars of soap among 222 families in Srinagar from 29 March to 11 April.

Deoghar: The centre served 2081 plates of cooked food and distributed 300 kg rice, 75 kg dal, 75 kg potatoes, 300 kg chira and 150 packets of bread among 300 families in Deoghar from 31 March to 6 April.

Jamshedpur: The centre distributed 1000 kg rice, 200 kg dal, 400 kg potatoes, 100 kg salt, 200 packets of washing powder and 200 bars of soap among 200 families in Jamshedpur on 31 March and 2 April.

Ranchi Morabadi: The centre distributed 3000 leaflets for coronavirus awareness, 15,905 kg rice, 3148 kg dal, 3228 kg potatoes, 1500 kg salt, 150 kg turmeric powder, 3610 bars of soap, 1902 face masks and 5 litres of hand sanitizer among 1504 families in Ranchi from 28 March to 15 April.

Ranchi T.B. Sanatorium: The centre distributed 3500 kg rice, 1750 kg flour, 350 kg dal, 850 kg potatoes, 350 kg salt, 350 bars of soap, 350 packets of detergent powder and 60 face masks among 350 families in Ranchi district from 24 March to 15 April. An isolation ward is being set up at the hospital for coronavirus patients.

Belagavi: The centre distributed 130 kg rice, 335 kg jowar, 331 kg flour, 98 kg semolina, 154 kg dal, 350 kg salt, 13 kg assorted spices, 154 litres cooking oil, 154 kg sugar, 12 kg tea leaves and 334 bars of soap among 77 families in Belagavi district on 2 and 3 April.

Bengaluru: The centre distributed 3500 kg rice, 600 kg dal, 600 kg jaggery, 700 kg onions, 350 kg salt, 350 litres cooking oil and 50 kg sugar among 350 families in Bengaluru from 7 to 11 April.

Davanagere: The centre distributed 30 kg rice, 145 kg jowar (sorghum), 101 kg dal, 5 kg ragi, 2.5 kg jaggery, 1000 packets of biscuits, 500 pamphlets, 2000 face masks, 10,000 packets of tissue papers, 114 gloves, 500 hand sanitizer bottles and 1000 bars of soap among 533 families in Davangere from 26 March to 13 April.

Mangalore: The centre is coordinating with the Mangalore City Corporation in sensitizing the people about the coronavirus.

Mysuru: The centre served 2400 plates of cooked food and distributed 3150 packets of biscuits, 3150 bars of soap, 3750 face masks, 1875 hand sanitizer bottles and 1875 packets of tissue papers from 26 March to 12 April.

Ponnampet: The centre has set up two wards exclusively for Coronavirus patients, served 1040 plates of cooked food and distributed 900 kg rice, 150 kg flour, 60 kg semolina, 150 kg dal, 90 kg potatoes, 90 kg onions, 150 kg salt, 75 litres cooking oil, 30 kg sambhar powder, 150 kg sugar, 300 packets of biscuits, 101 coconuts and 300 bars of soap in Kodagu district from 29 March to 10 April.

Shivanahalli: The centre is conducting awareness campaigns among the poor villagers in and around Shivanahalli and has served 1,05,750 plates of cooked food among 5000 persons among the local daily wagers from 27 March to 14 April.

Haripad: The centre has distributed 2635 kg rice, 684 kg dal, 527 kg salt, 252 kg sugar and 252 kg cooking oil among 527 families in Alappuzha district from 29 March to 11 April.

Kalady: The centre distributed 5830 kg rice, 694 kg dal, 963 kg potatoes, 960 kg onions, 120 kg salt, 343 litres cooking oil, 191 kg assorted spices, 1101 bars of soap, 86 kg washing powder and 53 litres of soap solution among 1000 families in Kalady from 31 March to 7 April.

Kayamkulam: The centre distributed 600 kg rice, 250 kg flour, 25 kg dal, 250 kg onions and 250 kg of salt among 300 families in Alappuzha district on 31 March.

Koyilandy: The centre distributed 1828 kg rice, 862 kg flour, 1124 kg dal, 619 kg semolina, 120 litres cooking oil, 57 bottles of health drinks, 481 kg sugar, 34 kg assorted spices, 10 kg tea leaves, 150 gloves, 150 sanitizers and 150 face masks among 436 families in Koyilandy from 31 March and 16 April.

Kozhikode: The centre is providing temporary boarding and lodging for 21 stranded daily wagers and served them 1283 plates of cooked food from 26 March to 15 April. It also distributed 175 kg rice, 50 kg rice powder, 40 kg flour, 74 kg dal, 33 kg semolina, 65 kg salt, 31 kg assorted spices, 25 litres cooking oil, 65 kg sugar and 1.5 kg tea leaves among 65 families in Kozhikode from 13 to 15 April.

Pala: The centre served 1200 plates of cooked food and distributed 105 kg rice, 90 kg flour, 110 kg semolina, 265 kg dal, 160 kg vegetables, 28 litres cooking oil, 65 kg salt, 90 kg sugar, 10 kg assorted spices, 9 kg groundnut, 60 bars of soap, 60 packets of detergent powder, 60 bottles of hair oil, 180 packets of biscuits and 60 towels among 160 families in Kottayam district from 30 March to 9 April.

Thiruvananthapuram: The centre has set up an outpatient clinic for screening Coronavirus patients.

Thrissur: The centre distributed 294 kg dal, 196 litres cooking oil and 196 kg sugar among 98 families in Thrissur district on 11 April.

Indore: The centre distributed 300 kg rice, 500 kg flour and 210 kg dal among 40 families on 7 April.

Mumbai:  The centre served 46,550 plates of cooked food along with water bottles from 28 March to 14 April. Bread, fruits and sweets were also distributed along with meals.

Nagpur: The centre distributed 500 kg rice, 300 kg flour, 100 kg dal, 200 kg potatoes, 200 kg onions, 100 kg semolina, 130 kg assorted spices, 100 litres cooking oil, 100 kg salt, 100 kg sugar, 20 kg tea leaves, 300 packets of biscuits, 100 bars of soap and 100 face masks among 100 families in Nagpur district from 6 to 8 April.

Pune: The centre distributed 3031 N-95 masks to Pune doctors’ association, and 1862 kg rice, 4552 kg flour, 1795 kg dal, 585 kg assorted spices, 558 kg rice flakes, 362 kg semolina, 634 kg sugar, 877 litre cooking oil, 323 kg groundnut, 174 kg tea leaves, 179 kg washing powder and 461 bars of soap among 751 families in Pune and Ahmednagar district from 31 March to 8 April.

Shillong: The centre distributed 8815 kg rice, 8815 kg potatoes and 1300 face masks among 1763 families in East Khasi Hills district from 1 to 16 April.

Sohra (Cherrapunji): The centre distributed 3,74,575 kg rice and 74,915 kg dal among 14,983 families at their homes in East Khasi Hills, West Jaintia Hills, South West Khasi Hills, West Khasi Hills, North Garo Hills, West Garo Hills and South West Garo Hills districts in Meghalaya, and Dhubri district  in Assam from 26 March to 12 April. The centre distributed 18,018 face masks, essential medicines to 852 patients and is transporting patients from villages to health centres from 25 March to 14 March.

New Delhi: The centre served 27,394 plates of cooked food among the poor and needy from 26 to 15 April.

Bhubaneswar:  The centre distributed 2000 kg rice, 600 kg dal, 200 litres cooking oil, 1000 kg potatoes, 400 kg onions, 200 kg Soybeans, 400 kg salt, 500 face masks and 400 bars of soap among 200 families in Khurda district from 11 to 18 April.

Kothar: The centre distributed 900 bottles of hand sanitizers among the poor villagers in Bhadrak district from 21 to 23 March.

Puri Mission: The centre distributed 1005 kg rice, 201 kg flour, 201 kg dal, 402 kg potatoes, 201 kg onions, 40 kg assorted spices, 101 litres cooking oil, 101 kg salt, 201 packets of biscuits and 402 bars of soap among 201 families in Puri district on 13 and 16 April.

Jaipur: The centre distributed 186 kg rice, 465 kg flour, 186 kg dal, 93 kg salt, 93 kg cooking oil, 93 kg assorted spices, 93 packets of washing soap and 93 bars of soap among 93 families in Jaipur on 5 April.

Chengalpattu: The centre distributed 780 kg rice, 88 kg dal, 80 kg semolina, 38 kg vermicelli, 160 litres cooking oil and 183 kg assorted spices among 250 families in Chengalpattu District from 9 to 10 April.

Chennai Math: The centre served 10,600 plates of cooked food, distributed 6500 face masks, 1000 gloves, 2000 packets of biscuits among the general public, Corporation Sanitary workers, Greater Chennai Police and students of a blind school, and 13,600 kg rice, 4995 kg dal, 1584 kg sugar, 1200 litre cooking oil, 2750 kg salt, 1155 kg assorted spices and 150 kg tea leaves among 3020 tribal, weavers and poor families in Kanyakumari, Kanchipuram, Mayiladuthurai, Puducherry, Sivaganga, Tiruvallur, Thanjavur and Vellore districts from 26 March to 14 April.

Coimbatore Math: The centre served 2000 plates of cooked food among 150 municipality workers and 900 cups of tea and snacks to 60 police personnel in Coimbatore district from 29 March to 11 April.

Coimbatore Mission: The centre conducted awareness campaigns in 4 panchayat areas, served 10,699 plates of cooked food and distributed 14,375 kg rice, 6636 kg dal, 2478 kg semolina, 2031 litres cooking oil, 5478 assorted groceries and 300 packets of biscuits among 2574 families in Coimbatore district on 25 March to 11 April.

Kanchipuram: The centre served 1710 plates of cooked food and distributed 6200 kg rice, 645 kg dal, 645 kg salt, 645 kg sugar, 645 litres cooking oil and 1355 kg assorted spices among 645 families from 28 March to 16 April.

Madurai: The centre distributed 40 kg rice, 50 kg dal, 20 kg cooking oil, 40 kg salt, 18 kg assorted spices and 60 bars of soap among 40 families at a slum in Madurai district on 13 and 14 April.

Malliankaranai: The centre distributed 600 kg rice, 1125 kg dal, 200 litres cooking oil, 200 kg salt, 60 kg assorted spices and 20 packets of biscuits among 200 families in Kanchipuram district from 5 to 9 April.

Nattarampalli: The centre distributed 23,236 kg rice, 3220 kg dal, 1765 litres cooking oil, 198 kg sambar powder, 1788 kg salt and 88 kg turmeric powder among 1788 families from 24 March to 14 April.

Ramanathapuram: The centre distributed 2500 kg rice, 3220 kg dal, 500 kg cooking oil, 500 kg sugar, 88 kg assorted spices and 1000 bars of soap among 500 families on 15 April.

Salem: The centre distributed 1400 hand gloves among sanitary workers on 28 and 29 March and is serving lunch among 100 workers of Salem Corporation from 27 March.

Hyderabad: The centre distributed 3350 kg rice, 600 kg flour, 660 kg dal, 705 litres cooking oil, 675 kg onions and 75 kg potatoes among 660 families in Hyderabad and Malkajgiri districts from 3 to 15 April.

Kailashahar: The centre conducted awareness campaigns and distributed various sanitary items among 218 families of Unakoti district on 16 March.

Almora: The centre distributed 295 kg rice, 295 kg flour, 59 kg dal, 59 litres cooking oil, 59 kg salt, 83 kg sugar, 11 kg tea leaves, 18 kg assorted spices, 35 bars of soap and 70 face masks among 59 families from 2 to 12 April. 

Dehradun: The centre distributed 700 hand wash bottles, 700 hand sanitizer bottles, 700 kg washing powder, 700 bars of soap, 1400 face masks and 1400 packets of biscuits among 700 families in Dehradun on 10 April. 

Kankhal: The hospital has started a Flu Clinic for Coronavirus patients and distributed 200 kg of rice, 150 kg dal, 45 kg cooking oil, 2 bags of potatoes and one bag of tomatoes to the Indian Reserve Police Battalion for their community kitchen and 2000 kg of rice, 2000 kg potato, 800 kg dal, 400 kg cooking oil, 120 kg assorted spices, 400 kg salt, 800 bars of soap, 2000 face masks and 400 awareness pamphlets from 9 to 14 April.

Rishikesh: The centre distributed 2450 packets of bread in Dehradun district from 24 to 30 March.

Uttarkashi: The centre distributed 1575 kg rice, 1575 kg flour, 525 kg dal, 388 litres cooking oil, 30 kg milk powder, 525 kg sugar, 39 kg tea leaves and 1050 bars of soap among 527 families in Uttarkashi from 1 to 14 April.

Kanpur:  The centre served 230 plates of cooked food and distributed 909 kg rice, 850 kg flour, 390 kg dal, 214 kg cooking oil, 20 litres milk, 200 kg sugar, 202 kg salt, 85 kg soybeans, 48 kg turmeric powder, 110 packets of biscuits and 110 bars of bathing soap in Kanpur among 205 families on 14 April.

Lucknow: The centre distributed 1490 kg flour, 1490 kg rice, 596 kg dal, 308 litre cooking oil, 596 kg potatoes, 596 kg onions, 298 kg salt, 600 grams coconut oil, 29 kg assorted spices, 596 bars of washing soap, 572 bars of soap and 596 face masks among 234 families in Lucknow and Ayodhya from 29 March to 13 April. 

Varanasi Home of Service:  An isolation ward is being set up at the hospital for Coronavirus patients.

Vrindaban:  An emergency room has been set up at the hospital for coronavirus patients. The centre served 11400 plates of cooked food and distributed 900 kg rice, 925 kg flour, 180 kg dal, 90 litres mustard oil, 90 kg salt and 45 kg sugar among 185 families in Vrindaban from 27 March to 14 April.

Advaita Ashrama, Kolkata: The centre distributed 550 kg rice, 110 kg dal, 550 kg flour, 55 litres of cooking oil and 110 bars of soap among 110 families in Kolkata on 1 and 2 April.

Antpur: The centre distributed 7500 kg rice, 1500 kg dal, 1500 kg salt, 300 kg soybeans, 3000 packets of biscuits, 97 litres of cooking oil and 3000 bars of soap among 1500 families in Hooghly district from 7 to 15 April.

Asansol: The centre distributed 9868 kg rice, 1472 kg dal, 957 kg flour, 1472 litres of mustard oil, 5886 kg potatoes, 307 kg onions, 13,312 packets of biscuits and 2943 bars of soap among 2943 beneficiaries in Paschim Bardhaman district from 31 March to 14 April.

Bagda: The centre distributed 200 kg rice, 100 kg dal, 100 litre cooking oil, 50 kg salt, 25 kg chattu, 25 kg semolina, 50 gram turmeric powder, 100 bar of soap and 100 packets of detergent among 100 families in Purulia district on 3 April.

Baghbazar: The centre distributed 22,046 kg rice, 4409 kg dal, 4409 kg soybeans, 13,228 kg potatoes 1102 kg salt, 1102 kg milk powder, 500 litres cooking oil and 2000 bars of soap among 4000 families on 27 March to 4 April.

Bajepratappur, Bardhaman: The centre distributed 100 face masks, bars of soap and washing powder among the labour class people in interior villages.

Balaram Mandir: The centre distributed 600 kg rice, 120 kg dal, 120 kg soybeans, 240 kg potatoes, 120 kg sugar and 120 kg salt among 120 families in Kolkata on 15 April.

Bamunmura: The centre distributed 12,835 kg rice, 50 kg flour, 2946 kg dal, 499 kg soybeans, 1183 kg potatoes, 50 kg salt, 20 kg cooking oil, 495 packets of biscuits and 2411 bars of soap among 2634 families in North 24 Parganas district from 31 March to 13 April.

Bankura: The centre served 204 plates of cooked food among homeless people and 108 kg rice, 27 kg dal, 27 kg chira, 72 kg potatoes, 5 kg onions, 1 kg soybeans, 27 kg salt, 27 kg sugar, 70 packets of biscuits and 40 bars of soap among 70 families in Bankura district from 27 March to 7 April.

Baranagar Math: The centre distributed 1500 kg rice, 500 kg dal, 1500 kg potatoes, 1000 kg onions, 250 litres cooking oil, 50 kg assorted spices, 250 kg salt, 500 packets of biscuits and 500 bars of soap among 500 families in Baranagar from 8 to 10 April.

Baranagar Mission: The centre distributed 4000 kg rice, 2400 kg dal, 4000 kg potatoes, 320 kg soybeans and 820 litres cooking oil among 836 families and 2567 face masks, 153 hand sanitizer bottles and 2414 bars of soap among municipality workers from 28 March to 11 April.

Barasat: The centre served 438 plates of cooked food and distributed 1000 kg rice, 200 kg dal, 100 kg chira, 400 kg potatoes, 100 litres cooking oil, 200 packets of biscuits and 200 bars of soap among 132 families in Barasat district from 4 March to 5 April.

Kathamrita Bhavan, Kolkata:  The centre distributed 840 kg rice, 420 kg flour, 370 kg dal, 420 kg potatoes and 74 kg soybeans among 420 families from 28 March to 2 April and is conducting spiritual classes thrice a week from Ashrama.

Lalgarh: The centre distributed 120 kg dal, 120 litres cooking oil, 120 bars of soap and 60 face masks among 120 families on 5 and 6 April.

Ramharipur: The centre distributed 10,410 kg rice, 6246 kg dal and 1041 kg salt among 2082 families in neighbouring areas from 4 to 8 April. The centre is also distributing 50 litres milk among 200 poor children from 24 March onwards.

Sarisha: The centre served 50,025 plates of cooked food and distributed 3722 bars of soap, 1906 packets of washing powder and 250 face masks among 2211 families in South 24 Parganas district from 2 to 15 April.

Sargachhi: The centre has distributed 5000 bars of soap to Berhampur Correctional Home, 300 kg rice among old persons, milk to 300 children and face masks, hand wash and sanitizers to the local government authorities from 25 to 29 March.

Vedanta Society of Boston: The centre provided spiritual counselling to the needy and a special article titled “A Spiritual response to the Virus” was written by the minister-in-charge.

Vedanta Society of New York: The centre provided spiritual counselling to the suffering and gave a special lecture titled “Fighting anxiety and depression” was delivered by the minister-in-charge with nearly 100,000 views.

Lusaka: The centre handed over 200 hand sanitizer bottles to the Epilepsy Association of Zambia in April.
